The Blues Cube Hot is a 30 W combo guitar amp that recreates the behaviour of a tweed-era tube amplifier using Roland's Tube Logic design, from input stage to speaker output. It contains no actual tubes, so it needs no tube replacement and is described as basically maintenance-free. Tone moves from clean to crunch mainly through the Volume control.
Controls include Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble, Reverb and Master, plus footswitchable Boost and Tone buttons. Boost thickens the crunch, and Tone adds high-range sparkle. A four-position Power Control (0.5 W, 5 W, 15 W, Max) lets the player get driven output-stage character at lower volumes. The cabinet is open-back poplar plywood and holds a custom 12-inch speaker.
The guitar plugs into a 1/4-inch input. A rear footswitch jack handles Boost and Tone switching. A line output and a stereo headphone jack cover quiet practice and feeds to other gear, and a USB type B port sends audio to a computer for direct recording. The amp comes in Vintage Blond and Black finishes.
