DM-4800
The DM-4800 is a 64-channel digital mixing console with 24 mic/line inputs, 24 busses, motorized faders and built-in DAW control. It suits studio and live engineers who need a large, expandable mixing and automation surface. The model has been discontinued.

The DM-4800 combines 48 channels and 16 returns into 64 total inputs, with 24 busses and 12 aux sends. Each channel has a 4-band EQ plus compression and gating, and the aux, buss and main outputs also have compression. Two built-in effects processors can run TC reverb programs, and any input can be routed to any channel or output. Automation uses touch-sensitive motorized faders, and per-channel LED ring encoders handle pan, aux sends and EQ. A channel strip section gives EQ, dynamics and aux control of the selected channel.
A built-in DAW control layer works with Pro Tools, Logic Pro, SONAR, Cubase, Nuendo and Digital Performer. Transport buttons can also control RS-422 and MMC devices. Settings and data can be offloaded to Compact Flash media through the built-in slot.
On the rear panel there are 24 XLR mic/line inputs with analog inserts and phantom power, 24 balanced TRS line inputs, three 8-channel TDIF ports, an 8-channel ADAT optical port, AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital I/O, and four expansion card slots for FireWire, ADAT, AES/EBU, analog, TDIF and surround monitoring cards. A dedicated cascade port links two DM-4800 units, and an optional MU-1000 24-channel meter bridge can be attached.
