US-2x2
Two-in, two-out USB 2.0 audio and MIDI interface with two mic/line preamps, phantom power and a headphone output. It is aimed at home, project and mobile studios, and runs on USB bus power. It has been discontinued and replaced by the US-2x2HR.

The US-2x2 is a desktop interface with two combo inputs that accept XLR or 6.3 mm TRS, with a switch to select mic/line or instrument level. Its preamps provide up to 57 dB of gain, and +48V phantom power is available on the inputs. Converters work at up to 96 kHz/24-bit, and NE5532 op amps are used in the input and output stages. A direct monitoring function allows zero-latency monitoring, with stereo or mono input monitoring selectable in the settings panel.
Outputs are two balanced TRS line outputs for powered monitors and a stereo headphone jack with its own volume control, separate from the line output level. The housing is all metal and angled for easier use on a desk. MIDI in and out on 5-pin DIN connectors let it work with synths, drum machines and controllers.
It connects to a computer by USB 2.0 and is class compliant on macOS and iOS or iPadOS, while Windows uses a driver that adds ASIO. Power comes over USB for computer use; an optional AC adapter is needed with iOS devices. Cubase LE is the bundled software.
